2024 General Election Voter Guide Featured

The Bastrop County Republican Party (BCRP) and Lost Pines Republican Women (LPRW) joined together to generate a 2024 Voter Guide  for early voting and on Election Day November 5th, 2024.  Available in English and Spanish.

 

Remember cellphones and other digital devices are not permitted inside the polling place, but you can take the red boxed tear off section of candidates on the last page of the Voter Guide as your helpful notes.

2022 General Election Voter Guide

The Bastrop County Republican Party (BCRP) and Lost Pines Republican Women (LPRW) joined together to generate and mail a 16 page Voter GuideThis 2022 General Election issue is loaded with Candidate information, and will begin arriving in your mailbox early next week.  You’ll also find Early Voting and Election Day polling places, dates and hours, a current list of your BCRP Executive Committee, Officers and Precinct Chairs, as well as information and an application for LPRW membership.

We’ve Moved Again!

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]May 1 New Office locationBastrop County GOP is now located at 443 Hwy 71W in the former WIC in Bastrop. Our office is located in the strip mall with First National Bank & Tractor Supply. We’re just a couple of doors down from our prior, temporary location.

We’re closed Sunday and Monday. We’re open 10a.m. to 2p.m. Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday. And, on Wednesday, we’re open in the early evening: 2p.m. to 6p.m.

Notice of Ballot Canvass

The GOP Ballot Canvass will take place on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at 5PM.  This will take place at the new GOP office, 453 Hwy 71 in the old Beall’s Shoes location.  (This is in the strip mall with First National Bank, Harbor Freight, Tractor Supply.)[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]

Thinking About Running for Precinct Chair?

It’s time!  If you want to be a candidate for Bastrop County precinct chair in 2022, the second opportunity to apply for a place on the ballot has begun.

  • The application must be filed between January 15, 2022 and 6:00 p.m. on February 12, 2022. (Section 172.023, Texas Election Code).
  • Precinct Chairs can file using this Application for a Place on the Ballot.
    • Applications for precinct chair candidates may be filed in person (contact County Chair Mike Gepner to do so) or by mail or email, as there is no filing fee associated with the office of precinct chair.
    • A person must reside in the election precinct to be eligible to be a candidate for or to serve as a precinct chair for that precinct.
    • Addition information, including qualification to run for Party office, is on the Secretary of State’s website.

(Please note the door says 443.)  Our office is located in the strip mall with First National Bank & Tractor Supply. We’ll be in this spot until May 1 when we’ll be relocating a few doors down in the space now occupied by WIC.
