This months speakers will be Sergeant James Miller with the Bastrop County Sheriffs Office. Sergeant Miller will be discussing the Fentanyl problem in Bastrop County and the State of Texas. After his presentation, he will answer questions from the audience.
Sergeant James Miller started his law enforcement career at the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office and has been with the Bastrop County Sheriff’s Office for 15 years. He is currently assigned to the Criminal Investigation’s Department working cases from Mail Box destruction to murder investigations. In his career he has been a patrol officer, patrol supervisor, mental health deputy and now a criminal investigator.
